Announcement

The Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Northeast Regional Office at Salem State University are pleased to announce a unique collaboration for Chamber members and for North Shore residents and businesses. Our two organizations will work together to help individuals contemplating the opening of a new business, as well as companies in all industries seeking growth opportunities through increased productivity, improved profitability, new revenue creation and capital for their growth plans.

Ken Roffe, regional director of the MSBDC Northeast Regional Office, will be conducting one-on-one business advising sessions the second and fourth Thursdays of every month beginning July 14, 2016. The sessions will be held at the Chamber’s offices, located at 265 Essex Street, Salem.

For the first half of the current fiscal year, the Small Business Development Center has already counseled 237 clients, and assisted these clients in obtaining over $5.02 million in financing. For those who would feel more comfortable receiving business assistance in Spanish, we have a senior business advisor on our staff who is bilingual.

To make an appointment with Ken, please contact the Salem Chamber at info@salem-chamber.org or call 978-744-0004. If either of the monthly Thursdays are inconvenient for you, meetings can be scheduled at the Small Business Development Center on the Salem State University Central Campus. Please call the MSBDC office at 978-542-6343.
