Request for Counseling

Due to the current pandemic situation, all appointments are held virtually.

The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center provides free, confidential, one-to-one business advice and free or low-cost workshops to prospective and existing small businesses. We provide assistance to individuals contemplating a business venture, along with new, existing, expanding and troubled businesses. Areas of assistance include, but are not limited to: Start-up Business Assistance; Business Plan Development; Financial Plan Development; Marketing and Sales Strategies; Organizational and Personnel Issues; and Cash Flow Analysis. We also provide training on a variety of buisness topics.

The Northeast Regional Office's services are further augmented by our international trade advisors who help companies achieve success in global markets by providing targeted, high-impact services for exporters. Additionally, the office can connect you an SBIR advisor or our procurement specialists dedicated to providing assistance in bidding, managing and performing on government contracts.

If you wish to schedule an appointment with a business advisor, please complete our online Request for Counseling form with the link below. This information will be sent directly to our office. In most cases, a staff member will get back to you to make an appointment within two business days. You will also receive an email confirmation from centeric@clients.msbdc.org. Please add this email address to your approved sender list so the confirmation is delivered to your inbox.

If you cannot complete the online Request for Counseling, please call our office for assistance at 978-542-6343. Please note that all clients are required to complete and sign our Request for Counseling in order to receive business advisory services.

By contacting our office and requesting at least two weeks in advance, every attempt will be made to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities and those who need translation services.
